Los Angeles Peptides Clinic · Women’s hormone care – Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
Estradiol Topical Cream in Los Angeles – Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) Estrogen Optimization
A daily topical cream that may help relieve menopausal
symptoms by delivering estrogen steadily through the skin.
Estradiol cream is a bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT) applied to
the skin to help relieve symptoms tied to declining estrogen
during perimenopause and postmenopause. Estradiol absorbs
through the skin and into the bloodstream, which many clinicians
prefer over oral estrogen because it bypasses the liver.
The cream form offers flexibility in where and how it’s applied,
and is often chosen by patients who prefer not to wear a patch.
It’s compounded by a state-licensed pharmacy based on your clinician’s prescription.

How it works
Apply a small measured amount to clean, dry skin once
daily, per your clinician’s instructions. Common
application sites include the inner thighs, inner arms,
or abdomen. Your clinician will guide you on placement
and rotation.
After you place your order, you’ll complete a short medical intake online.
A licensed clinician reviews your history to determine
whether estradiol is appropriate for you. In some states,
a brief telehealth appointment with the clinician may
be required (at no extra cost) before a prescription
can be issued.
If approved, your medication is compounded and shipped
discreetly to your door. Most patients receive their
first order within one week.
After your first delivery,
a new monthly supply arrives automatically every 4 weeks, so you don’t have to remember to reorder. You can delay a shipment or cancel anytime from your account.

A note on progesterone
If you have an intact uterus,
progesterone is typically taken alongside estradiol to help protect the uterine lining.
Many patients without a uterus also choose to add progesterone
for its potential sleep and mood benefits. Progesterone is
available as a separate product in our catalog, and your
clinician will review whether it’s appropriate for you as
part of your medical intake.
A note on application
Apply to clean, dry skin and let the cream fully absorb before
dressing or touching others. Avoid skin-to-skin contact at
the application site with partners or children until the
cream is fully absorbed, as estradiol can transfer through
skin contact. Your clinician and care team can answer any
questions about safe application.
Important to know
Estradiol cream is a prescription medication and requires
evaluation by a licensed clinician.
This medication is compounded, meaning it’s custom-prepared
by a state-licensed pharmacy based on your clinician’s
prescription. Compounded estradiol cream is not FDA-approved
as a finished drug product. FDA-approved branded topical
estradiol products are available; your clinician can discuss
whether a compounded or branded option fits your needs.
Hormone therapy isn’t right for everyone. Your clinician
will review your medical history, possible side effects,
and whether this treatment is right for you.
Patients with an intact uterus typically take progesterone
alongside estradiol. Progesterone is available as a separate
product, and your clinician will review whether it’s
appropriate for you.
Results vary and are not guaranteed.
